This Definitely Was One for the Books!
Being asked to support Australian rock ‘n’ roll legends, The Screaming Jets, on their “Life Blood” tour was an opportunity we gladly embraced.
I’ve been listening to The Jets since I was a young child in the 90s. They remind me of my dad, firewood, Holden utes, and riding my motorbike through the bush with an Australian cattle dog.
Mammal is slightly heavier than The Jets, and initially, we were hesitant. But with the backing of New World Artists (our booking agent), and the support of Triple M, the decision was an easy one.
We got to play some amazing venues, met awesome people, and ultimately just had a blast. I was very impressed with the stages, the road crew, and the overall crowd response. It’s hard to pick a favorite venue! We finished on January 5th at Miami Marketta on the Gold Coast with a super sweaty rock show to close it all out.
Overall, the "Life Blood" tour was a success, celebrated for its powerful performances and the vibrant energy brought by all participating bands, reinforcing the enduring appeal of Australian rock.
