JOINING DR STRINGS AS AN ENDORSING ARTIST

Stoked To Be Joining DR Strings!

This is a huge one for me. I’ve been using DR Strings for years, and now, I’m officially an endorsing artist.

If you’ve followed my playing, you’ll know how obsessed I am with bass tone. Strings are absolutely critical to your overall sound. The further I dive into tuition and tone consulting with my students, the more I realize how often this gets overlooked when chasing a specific sound and feel.

My strings of choice are Hi-Beams, Lo-Riders, Dragon Skin+, and Black Beauties. I used the Black Beauties on my last Australian tour with my 2001 Music Man Sterling—an absolute match made in heaven.

Some of my biggest covers, recordings, and live shows sounded the way they did because of DR Strings. Stainless steel is by far my preferred string wrap.

I feel my Pantera, Tool, and Chili Peppers covers are where this is most apparent—bright, snappy, and mid-driving.

I’m proud that the hard work behind this website and my branding is evolving into something I could only dream of as a kid. Massive thanks to the team at DR Strings for the support. Couldn’t be more pumped to rep a brand that’s been such a staple in my playing.
